Mike Porché - President & CEOMike has been with DSI for twenty-four years and prior to that Globe Communications for five years. During that time he has served as DSI's Executive Vice President, Divisional Vice President, Auditor and Regional Manager, and with Globe as District Manager covering the Mid-Atlantic and New England markets. |
Tim Hannon - Executive Vice President & COOTim is responsible for and oversees all marketing, distribution and DSI client services functions. Tim started in the industry working for Globe Marketing Services in 1988. He has served DSI in several capacities including District Manager, Regional Manager, and Director of Sales. Prior to coming to DSI, Tim has most recently worked for magazine wholesaler Source Interlink Distribution, overseeing Specialty Sales and Publisher Services. |
Jay L. Wysong - EVP/Retail OperationsJay is responsible for and oversees retail merchandising field operations. Jay has served DSI in numerous capacities during his 26-year tenure with the company including District Manager, Regional Manager, National Marketing Director, Division and Retail Vice-President positions. |
Brian Beaudry - VP/DistributionBrian has been with DSI since August 2002. He oversees a distribution team of 40 people working with the wholesalers in the field and home office. Prior to joining DSI, he spent 5 years with Wenner Media as Director of Consumer Marketing. He has also held various management positions with both TDS and CoMag (prior ICD) and has been in the industry since 1983. |
Todd Garland - VP/MarketingTodd is responsible for all of Marketing in the US and Canada for DSI Clients. Todd has served in several capacities during his 18 years with DSI including District Manager, Account Executive, National Marketing Director and Divisional Vice President. |
Charlie MacDonald - VP/Client ServicesCharlie is responsible for overseeing the Client Services department which is the primary contact with DSI's magazine publishing clients. The department's primary responsibility is to work closely with publishers to develop their overall newsstand marketing strategy and to interface with DSI's operational groups (Marketing, Distribution and Retail) to ensure the proper execution of the plan. He has served as VP/ Client Services at DSI for 10 years and prior to joining DSI held senior management positions in the newsstand distribution groups of both The Hearst Corporation and Time Warner. |
Keller Whalen - VP/AdministrationKeller is responsible for the internal operations including financial reporting, budgets, contracts and DSI's RDA and Rack services operations. Keller has previously held the position of Senior Vice President/General Manager of Warner Publisher Services, overseeing the billing and collections and backroom operations for the single copy sales of magazines and books. Earlier roles included VP/Treasurer at Warner Publisher Services, and Director of Customer Operations at Hachette Fillipacci USA. |
John Rick - VP/OperationsJohn is responsible for multiple financial functions for DSI and oversees all wire rack purchasing and RDA/RDP disbursements for AMI and several of our publisher clients. John has served DSI in numerous capacities during his 16-year tenure with the company including Sales Representative, District Manager, Regional Manager and Account Executive. |
Jeff Bean - VP/RetailJeff has been in the industry since 1982, starting his career with the Globe Merchandising Company. He has been an employee of DSI since July, 1992. Jeff has held numerous positions during this time including, District and Regional Retail Manager, Corporate Trainer, Retail Division Operations Manager and Key Client Accounts Manager. As the VP of Retail, he is currently based in Atlanta and oversees a full and part time staff performing the daily retail activities assigned to DSI. |
John Poropat - VP/ControllerJoining DSI in 2009, John's responsibilities encompass an assortment of financial management roles to ensure we meet the objectives of the company's operating plan. His duties include internal financial reporting and analysis, planning and forecasting, internal control assessment and compliance, including Sarbanes Oxley compliance, cost containment recommendation and analysis and cash flow forecasting and management. Over his 20 year career, John has held a variety of senior executive level positions across a multitude of industries, both public and private, and has developed a diverse accounting, financial, operational and investment background. He most recently held the position of Vice President of Finance with a subsidiary of the investment banking firm of Ladenburg Thalmann Financial Services, Inc., as well as, various executive positions with other fortune 500 companies such as Waste Management, Inc, Nestle USA, Tate and Lyle, PLC and Coats & Clark, PLC. |
